I am glad to announce that ProfileEditor RC2½ has been released to beta testers. After the initial bug reports come in and are fixed, all customers can expect RC2½ soon. RC3 will be following with Games for Windows Live support, enabling even more people to use Xbox 360 Profile Editor. 2010 has been a great year for modding, with JTAGs, USB Devices and Games for Windows Live profile editing and trust me, 2010 will be getting better.

I will fix all bugs beta testers report, so to the customers, "I will do my best to get it out for you guys ASAP". I would guess it might take maybe 1-2 weeks. Maybe less

Not sure if this is against the rules... but can you answer if the exception errors will be fixed in any of the release candidates or is that not fixed until the the final build?

I believe that this WUT exception has been fixed for RC2.5, but we will indefinitely see when this is released to the public as soon as the beta testers are done with it.

Wait, PE 2.5 was just released to beta testers 3 days ago? I just bought my Key today and Downloaded version 2.5.9149.0

You need to link your forum account with your key. This will then let you see all the PE forums and enable you to download the newest versions. There is a "key linking" link at the top of the page, or just click here.

Doesn't work, tells my my key was used by another account or doesn't exsist. Which is odd cause I got it over MSN direct from V3n3. I'll just buy a new one. Maybe then I'll get a Super Donator name and my name in the credits of the program, cause hell this buy will make $130 in money spent for 1 user account...I just hope you guys keep going, I love this thing!

Your key is already linked, hence the "License Owner" under your name. Unless you bought a new one today, don't buy a new one, but feel free to donate.

I bought a new one and I intened to donate a bucked load of money to keep this operation running...Only one problem I have now, I get an error starting PE...Just for info, I am using Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate. I have the latest version isntalled of PE that is available. and a valid key...but I don't even get to the part where I activate the PE with the new key.

Any Ideas!?

P.S.: The GamerTag thing on sign up is NOT OPTIONAL even though it says so, can yuo guys please fix that, cause that gamercard not foudn thing is annoying and I'm not gonna add my gamertag here! Thank you!

Ok. Try running "As Administrator" first. If that doesn't work, reinstall .NET. Does it come up with an error when you try to start it or it just never starts?

PS. Yes we know that the GT is NOT OPTIONAL despite it being written there. Even if you do add your GT only you can see it - no one else can see it. I've already made a topic about it and Tucker will change it when the theme is changed.

fixed the Gamertag on registration. Just leave the field blank and it wont place anything on your profile. For your problem with PE, please open a ticket in the support sub-forum. =)

That's fine dude. At least you asked. RC2.5 should be out sometime soon. They just have to fix a few of the bugs that they found while testing and then everyone should get it.
